Interesting article…it would be more interesting if he could show in the Bible where it says to “accept Jesus into your hear”.
Yes, this type of thing is a blackspot on Christians…well, sort of.
Sadly, and increasingly, people are making decisions on emotions and responding to what is known as the modern gospel: “if you accept Jesus into your heart, you will find joy, peace, happiness, and maybe a new job and house with a white picket fence and a dog will suddenly appear with the name Hope”
I’m sorry, but this is all injustified in the light of Scripture…kind of like the actions during the Crusades or the Inquisitions.

Well, I’ll leave that for now…I’m sure I could write more, but I need to go eat an orange and take a nap to get over my cold. I’m sure someone will have a response.
Have a good day,
Jordan

It interests me how the author of the article assumed at one time that religion makes people better people. That’s a very wide spread assumption, but I suppose the truth is somewhat different. It seems to me religion is a great facilitator. It can facilitate either good or evil, depending on the inclinations of its practitioners. But I don’t think it really changes many people.
